No, I do not literally knit with yarn made from cat fur. The name refers to the fact that since I have cats, it is inevitable that a few strands of their fur usually end up in my finished projects.

The sk2po in this video is different from the sk2po you might be used to seeing - slip 1, k2tog, psso. For this stitch, the sk2po means slip one, knit two, pass the slipped stitch over the two knits. Mock Brioche aka Mock Fisherman's Rib
Your channel's name made me giggle 🤭 I just needed a quick refresher to remember how to wind a ball, thank you so much for making such precise video. Videos these days are full of so much fluff and this could have easily been a 10+ minute elsewhere 😂
Thank you for this 🙏 This is the best double-crochet bind off (Chinese Waitress) I have found anywhere! I’d love to see how you cast on with it :)
Hi! The only video I have seen of the Chinese Waitress bind off using a crochet hook is done differently, the stitches are worked as if to purl and there is a yarn over between the stitches. That is different from what is done in this video. I'm sorry, I don't know of a matching cast on for this double crochet bind off. I do know this crochet cast on ua-cam.com/video/ZYrGuXNft2U/v-deo.html
That’s a very nice cast on
SO HELPFULT HANK YOU! <3
0:13 i want to know that light pink part pattern’s name it looks like using yarn over
Hi! It is Cat's Eye Lace, you can find the stitch instructions here: ua-cam.com/video/wtr80Oeu1_c/v-deo.html
@@iknitwithcatfur thank you!! 👍
Your voice is very pleasing for tutorials! Thanks for the easy-to-follow video. 😊
We never learn out ( there is always something new to learn ) 🎉thank-you 😊
Thanks 😊
Very understandable, I love how slowly you went so that I could follow.
Is there a specific multiple of stitches, or just odd multiple?
It is worked on 15 stitches, and you knit until the edging is as long as you need it to be.
@@iknitwithcatfur thank you
Well done. Thank you
I like that its so easy to see in the video what you do. And you do it nice and slow - it really helps! Thank you!
Just lovely, saw an old magazine on Pinterest came to UTube to figure it out ❤🎉
This looks like another way to change the colour of yarn without making a knot
12 years later I find you....gros merci for your kindness.
Do you actually knit with cat fur?
I understand the assignment 😊thank you you ❤
Can you make a reverse of this corded rib stitch? Is it possible? Thanks
I don't know if there is a reverse of this stitch or not. There are so many stitches, it's possible.
Thank you for a great tutorial
Is there a way to ladder down when knitting rickrack rib?
I am sure it could be done, but I have never successfully fixed mistakes that way. It is easiest for me to just work backwards until I reach my mistake, fix it and then continue. ua-cam.com/video/bT_vimOyg9s/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for this excellent tutorial on reading a knitting chart! Much appreciated! ❤🙏🏾😊
I just love all your knitting 🧶 videos❤❤❤❤🎉😊
Genius!
Btw I did make a scarf using this stitch😊
Omg !! I haven’t seen a video of yours in a while!! I got sidetracked with the beauty channels all about makeup and now I’m going to Crocheting. Made quite a Few things gs. But I gotta say the way u teach is amazing !! I’ve learned stitches I never knew existed bc of you! Ty ty Ty ❤❤❤❤
I found myself in a waiting room with my knitting but not my knitting pattern with me for this segment of my shawl. A quick look on youtube and you so kindly provided me with a reminder of how this simple slip stitch pattern goes. Thank you so much! You saved me from 20 minutes of boredom!
thank you so much, I've been asked to recreate a top, and this is the stitch, I've just gotta figure out how to increase, as the top looks done in 4 sections n made to look like a batwing sweater
if any advice would be helpful
Some stitches are easier than others to increase and stay in pattern, or have minimal interruption in the stitch pattern. Here is some info : blog.berroco.com/2013/07/09/emily-explains-how-do-you-increase-in-pattern/ The Budding Designers group on Ravelry may also be helpful.
I love Tunisian Crochet more than regular 🧶 crochet thanks for showing want me to pick it up again❤❤❤❤
Your row 4 video shows P1 *K2, P4* your written shows K2 P2 just wanted you to know this. I watched your video twice after thinking back 3 time love ❤️ love ❤❤❤ the pattern😊
Oh dear, so sorry about that. The video is correct, row four is p1 *k2, p4; rep from *, end k2, p1. I corrected the written instructions. Thanks for letting me know!
@@iknitwithcatfur glad to have helped you are awesome
Lovely pattern, easy to follow too. Should be good to knit for a scarf cause the back looks beautiful also. Thanks so much for sharing this pattern! ❤ Greetings from Singapore 🇸🇬
Too fast to see.
I was over here going, "no! Why on earth?!" Then I remembered my promise to knit my spouse a fisherman style sweater... 😂
Just wondering what ply wool and size needles you used
Sorry, I don't have this scarf or this yarn anymore to look at, I have no idea what the ply was. If by ply you mean the weight, the Lion Brand website says 4 Medium / Worsted. You can click the link in the video description for needle size and other info.
Excelente punto felicidades 😍👏👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹🌹💯
Thank you 🙏🏻 luv bubbles 😍
Sehr gut gezeigt und die Bubbles sind schön und alle auf der Vorderseite. 🤩 Vielen Dank 😊😊
Can this be done in the round?
Hi. You can find info for converting stitches for circular knitting here: www.sapphiresnpurls.com/2012/02/converting-flat-stitch-patterns-for.html
@@iknitwithcatfur Thank you for the info.
Very pretty pattern. Totally agree with you that it is labor intensive. Not sure if I would want to knit a scarf with this pattern for the homeless. Anyway thank you for sharing ❤ Love from Singapore 🇸🇬
Oh!mg.love it,Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much. I was about to go through the roof with frustration, working from a chart that wasn't working. 😊
Excellent! Happy to hear this was helpful.
I see you’re using dpn in this video, do you have a version for knitting this stitch in the round? Would love to use this stitch on a top that I’m making but can’t figure it out with the switching back and forth 😅

This is very pretty and I'm thinking it can look very unique for a pullover. What do I do to knit in the round? Is it 1st row: knit 1, *k1, p1*. Row 2: p1, *p1, k1* Row 3: knit til end Row 4: purl til end? Please correct me if I'm erong. Thank you so much. This is very pretty and unique. Have a lovely day.

I was wondering if you can do 1 video on how to correctly do a wrap and turn on the knit side and the purl side please
Thank you finally some one that shows it clearly😂
Beautiful ❤❤
This is a lovely pattern! Would work very well for a shawl, I think :) Thanks for all your videos - I'm very glad I found your channel :)
Really nice. I also like the backside better 😄
